While rosé only represents about 1.5% of the total table wine category, it’s growing at a massive rate, according to Nielson. Rosé sales climbed nearly 40% in the 12 months ended Dec. 2, according to the market researcher.

New Irish Whiskey
Beam Suntory has released the Tyrconnell 15-year-old, an Irish whiskey finished in Madeira casks. The 46%-abv offering is a limited release that the company will roll out this month to select markets at a suggested retail price of $100 a 750-ml. The 15-year-old expression joins a Tyrconnell portfolio that already includes the core namesake brand, as well as a 10-year-old Madeira Cask Finish, 10-year-old Port Cask Finish, and 10-year-old Sherry Cask Finish.
