New UFO Flavor
The Massachusetts Bay Brewing Company’s UFO brand has launched its newest core offering: UFO Pineapple. The 5.2%-abv Hefeweizen is brewed to be sweet, refreshing and easy drinking, according to the brewery. The flavored wheat ale is now available on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and bottles nationwide. UFO Pineapple is the brand’s second release of the year, following the seasonal UFO Apricot.
New Light Beer Line
MillerCoors has launched Two Hats, a 4.2%-abv light beer range that features two flavor options, lime and pineapple. Aimed at the 21-24-year-old demographic, Two Hats is rolling out nationwide in 16-ounce cans that retail at around $5 a six-pack depending on the market. MillerCoors is billing the brand as an alternative to higher-priced craft brews, and as an accessible entry point into the beer category for the younger generation, which has increasingly been favoring wine or spirits over beer in recent years.
Fetzer looks to showcase new vintages after 50 years as Mendocino County’s wine pioneer
Its golden anniversary offers an opportunity for the Chilean-owned wine company to reconnect with the past — and to use its history as a centerpiece of its marketing strategy while it ramps up new brands tailored to the latest customer trends, from rosé to bourbon barrel-aged red blends.
