New Narraganett
Providence, Rhode Island’s Narragansett Beer has unveiled Allie’s Double Chocolate Porter, the latest entry in the brewer’s Hi Neighbor Mash Up local collaboration series. Created in partnership with North Kingstown, Rhode Island-based shop Allie’s Donuts, the Double Chocolate Porter is brewed with chocolate malt, dark crystal malt and cocoa nibs. The 5.5%-abv limited edition seasonal will be available through the winter, sold in six-packs of 16-ounce cans ($8.49-$9.49 a six-pack). Narragansett’s distribution footprint currently spans New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington D.C., Maryland, North Carolina, Florida and Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee.
81% of all wine consumed in the U.S. is drunk by high-frequency wine drinkers — 33% of the market — according to the Wine Market Council.

JD Sinatra Bottle
Brown-Forman has officially launched Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Century, honoring the legendary entertainer’s 100th birthday. Only 100 barrels of the 100-proof whiskey are being released, packaged in individually numbered 1-liter bottles that come enclosed in a luxury gift box along with a selection of previously unreleased Frank Sinatra tracks. The set retails at around $500. This is the second Sinatra commemorative offering from Jack Daniel’s, which introduced a 90-proof Sinatra Select whiskey in 2013.
Lite Steinie Bottle
Miller Lite is returning to its “Original Steinie Bottle” packaging for a limited time this holiday season. The 12-ounce retro bottle format is launching nationwide through December. According to Impact Databank, Miller Lite declined 1.9% to 13.4 million barrels in 2014, but has seen its performance improve somewhat since introducing some of its original branding elements across its packaging over the past year.
