Frontier Whiskey has revealed its first bottled in bond Bourbon that was distilled and matured at Bulleit Distilling Co. in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Pernod Ricard-owned Absolut vodka is extending its ready-to-drink and ready-to-serve ranges with new offerings. On the ready-to-serve side the brand will add new Espresso Martini and Classic Cosmopolitan expressions at 20% abv, retailing at $17 a 375-ml. The new ready-to-drink options under the Absolut Ocean Spray partnership include Vodka White Cran•Peach and Vodka Cran•Mango. Those are at 4.5% abv and are debuting in the Absolut Ocean Spray 12-pack ($23), which also includes the existing Vodka Cranberry and Vodka Cran•Pineapple offerings. Finally, the Absolut Cocktails 8-pack is introducing three new flavors—Classic Mule (7% abv), Half & Half Tea and Lemonade (7%), and Classic Cosmo (10%)—along with the existing Berry Vodkarita. The core Absolut brand, including flavors but excluding RTDs, declined 4% to 2.7 million cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank. But the RTD portfolio saw strong growth, nearly doubling to 813,000 cases. |
