White Claw Announces New Flavors and Variety Packs
A slew of new products for White Claw fans, including the long-awaited release of White Claw Surge. The higher ABV (8 percent) version of the classic seltzer will finally hit shelves in April in Blood Orange and Cranberry flavors.
New Prosecco
E.&J. Gallo-owned La Marca Prosecco is launching a rosé expression this month. Rolling out to select markets at a suggested retail price of $17 a 750-ml., the new entry is a 2019 vintage-dated blend of 89% Glera and 11% Pinot Noir, produced via the Charmat method. It spends a minimum of 60 days undergoing secondary fermentation. A 2020 vintage of La Marca Prosecco Rosé will follow next spring. La Marca is projected to become the largest sparkling wine brand by volume in the U.S. by year-end, according to Impact Databank. Gallo marketing director Joyce Chen told SND, “We know there are a lot of still rosé consumers who are looking to add to their wine repertoire, and as America’s favorite Prosecco, La Marca is the perfect option to offer a sparkling perspective on Rosé that elevates consumer experiences.”

John Elway Wine
Former NFL star John Elway has launched a new line under his California-based 7Cellars wine brand. The Farm Collection consists of three wines: a Paso Robles-sourced Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay from the Arroyo Seco AVA, and Santa Lucia-based Pinot Noir. Each wine is retail priced at $30 a 750-ml. The Farm Collection joins the Elway Reserve range in the 7Cellars lineup, all of which are made by winemaker Robert Mondavi Jr.

Another New Rosé Prosseco
Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits has added a new Rosé Prosecco to its Josh Cellars family of wines. The release is rolling out now in New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Connecticut, with a national launch following in March 2021. The release of the 11.5% abv wine comes hot on the heels of Rosé Prosecco becoming an officially sanctioned category within Italian sparkling wine and will be supported by Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram ads.
