Skinnygirl, the low-calorie wine and pre-mix cocktail brand founded by US reality TV star Bethenny Frankel, has added a Prosecco to its ever-expanding line-up.
New Angry Orchard Flavor
Boston Beer Co.’s Angry Orchard cider brand is releasing Green Apple, a new year-round entry made with American-grown apples. Featuring tart, green apple flavors balanced with notes of kiwi and honeydew, the 5%-abv offering is launching this fall alongside Cinnful Apple, a spiced seasonal cider also made with American fruit. Cinnful Apple will be available nationwide through February, while Green Apple will initially be in limited release, with a nationwide rollout slated for early 2014. Both ciders will be available in six-packs and 12-packs, priced at $7.99-$9.99 a six-pack. The pair, which mark Angry Orchard’s first foray into American-sourced ciders, join the brand’s existing Crisp Apple, Traditional Dry and Apple Ginger entries, its Elderflower seasonal and its Cider House Collection series, all of which are made with European apples.

French Wine Test Finds Pesticides in Each of 92 Bottles Analyzed

Laboratory testing of 92 French wines from across the country found pesticide traces in every bottle, including those made from organically-grown grapes, consumer organization UFC-Que Choisir reported.
The Wine Advocate is measurably less influential than sommeliers, wine shop assistants, and the Wine Spectator, when it comes to taking wine advice, according to a new survey.
